We are participating in the Chicago Marathon on 11th of October 2009 as part of the Great Garda Run and in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation

The foundation was founded to provide Cancer Information and Awareness free of charge to the general public throughout Ireland.  With a focus on cancers that can be prevented through lifestyle changes and early detection.

We know there isn’t a person reading this who hasn’t been affected by this terrible disease whether directly, through family or friends and we are hoping to raise as much money as possible for this great cause, with the ultimate goal being a future free from the fear of cancer

We would like to stress that every penny raised will go directly to the charity.  We are paying our own travel and race expenses none of that is included in your sponsorship.
